There is so much to learn about the humble beverage named ‘tea.’ As the owner, and Certified Tea Sommelier at Blue Heron Tea Traditions, I find joy in introducing new audiences to specialty loose-leaf tea and the traditions surrounding it. It warms my heart when people tell me they had never actually looked at tea leaves AFTER infusion and gotten such a thrill! They are learning to appreciate tea in a new way: with all the senses. And that is my goal.

Tea is an amazing gift the earth has given us. The ways in which different countries and regions process tea leaves are an art form, and yet, still a bit of a mystery to western tea drinkers. Let me unlock some of the mystery for you. Please call to schedule your class or go to my Events Calendar.
I hope to see you soon!
