There is so much to learn about the humble beverage named ‘tea.’ As the owner, and Certified Tea Sommelier at Blue Heron Tea Traditions, I find joy in introducing new audiences to specialty loose-leaf tea and the traditions surrounding it. It warms my heart when people tell me they had never actually looked at tea leaves AFTER infusion and gotten such a thrill! They are learning to appreciate tea in a new way: with all the senses. And that is my goal.
